Eligibility
Talking Stage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact privacy@talkingstage.app.
Information We Collect
We collect your email address for account creation and sign-in. We also store the journal content you choose to add, including names or nicknames, notes, raw notebook entries, guided reflection answers, stages, dates, social handles, feelings, connection energy, and signals you log.
Biometric Data
If you turn on App Lock, Face ID, Touch ID, or other biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Talking Stage never receives, transmits, or stores your biometric data.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide the app, sync your journal across devices, authenticate your account, process optional Plus subscriptions, provide support, and maintain safety and reliability.
Payments
Optional Talking Stage Plus subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Data Sharing
We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, and RevenueCat for subscription status. These providers may process and store data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. We do not sell personal data.
Data Retention
We retain your account and journal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account and journal data within a reasonable time, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or store transaction reasons.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can export your journal data from Settings if you have Talking Stage Plus, and you can delete your account and data at any time. For any other request, contact privacy@talkingstage.app.
Security
Account data is protected by authentication and database row-level security. Talking Stage should be described as private to your account, not end-to-end encrypted.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app settings. You can also request deletion from Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your account and associated journal data, except information we must retain for legal, security, or store transaction reasons.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
